The Doctor has shown me the truth of this reality, and I have seen things that I never thought possible. This was never supposed to happen, and he said he can set things right. I am traveling with him across time and dimensions to bring order to this chaos. This will be my last update. After all of this is over, this journal may not even exist anymore.

i met a man today claiming to be some sort of doctor. he said he specializes in treating unorthodox conditions. he somehow knew about the dreams and visions i've been having, and he maintained he could help me figure out what they mean. i don't know if i should trust him, but i would do anything to figure out what these visions mean, if they even mean anything.

i've been having dreams lately. very vivid dreams. of world somewhat likes ours, but different in many ways....

President Bush was killed in the last year of his third term under circumstances that have yet to be revealed. The government refused to disclose any information regarding the death. The next and current president was appointed by the government. The circumstances behind this process have not been revealed. It was decided, in the name of national security, that no one should know the true name or face of the president. All statements from him are presented anonymously. After a few years, we came to call him President X.

In an unprecedented move, George W. Bush served almost 12 years as president. Congress felt that due to the rampant violence and war that had began globally, it would be in the best interest of the nation to grant the president an extended stay of office, as well as emergency executive powers in an effort to curb the rising violence world wide. The decision to grant him an automatic third term was made towards the end of his second term, as an election seemed like an impossible undertaking at the time.

september 11, the towers fell. september 15, the white house and the capital building were destroyed. al-qaeda proudly admitted their involvement in the former; the latter still remains shrouded in mystery. either way, it lead to a military state in america. over the course of the next few years, personal freedom took a back seat in the name of supposed patriotism. questioning authority become a crime. we all swallowed what we were fed. and look where it got us. we came to call these few days the ides of september.
